Where to Start When Planning Your Disney World Trip: Logistics, Lodging, Lightning Lanes

In this episode Dee walks you step-by-step through where to start when planning a Disney World vacation: choose which parks and trip length first, then pick resorts nearby based on tiers, transportation, and budget.
She explains resort categories (value, moderate, deluxe), transportation options to and from the resorts (Monorail, Skyliner, boats, buses), booking a package, and how Lightning Lanes work (single vs. multi-pass, rope-drop strategy, and park-specific examples).
Practical tips include budgeting Lightning Lanes, watching for discounts after booking, and using the My Disney Experience app. The episode ends with a short Kids Corner for listeners.
*Note: On this episode I did not mention that group one and group two of multi-pass no longer are separated the day you are in the park, so after you scan into your first ride, you can choose lightning lanes from either category!
